Jungle Adventures Peru is more than just a tour company—it’s the heart and soul of a family deeply rooted in the vibrant jungles of Manu. Founded by Jhasmani Robles and his wife Veronica, our story is one of resilience, dedication, and an unbreakable bond with the natural wonders of the Amazon Rainforest.
Jhasmani’s journey began with his parents, Teresa Condori and Sabino Robles, who first made Manu their home. Teresa, the daughter of Cusqueñan farmers, migrated to the jungle at the age of nine, where she helped her family adapt to the challenges of life in the wild. Sabino, a young soldier turned park ranger, was captivated by Manu’s unparalleled beauty. Together, they built a life in the jungle, cultivating rice, bananas, cassava, and other crops, while raising nine children in this remote paradise.
After losing his father in 2003, Jhasmani and his siblings took on the responsibility of supporting their family through agriculture. Despite the challenges, they persevered, eventually saving enough for Jhasmani to study and fulfill his dream of becoming a licensed tour guide. In 2006, the family began welcoming visitors to their jungle home, starting with small groups, sleeping in tents, and sharing their passion for Manu’s breathtaking landscapes.
Today, Jungle Adventures Peru is a thriving family business, rooted in the values instilled by Jhasmani’s parents: hard work, love for nature, and a deep sense of community. We’ve grown to provide employment to local people, built our own lodges, riverboats, and transportation, and established a dedicated team of guides who share our vision.
In 2019, the Robles family expanded their dream with the creation of the Treehouse Inn, a homage to Jhasmani’s father and a reflection of the family’s connection to the jungle canopy. Inspired by their father’s tradition of building homes among the trees, Jhasmani, Veronica, and their extended family worked tirelessly to bring this unique concept to life. The Treehouse Inn is now a place where guests can immerse themselves in the rainforest’s beauty while feeling like part of our family.
