Our 7-Day Manu National Park trip will begin early in the morning. We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco between 4:00 and 4:30 am. As the city sleeps, we will start our journey towards Manu Park, driving through the scenic Andes.
Our first destination will be the charming town of Paucartambo. It is located about 109 kilometers (68 miles) from Cusco. Here, we will pause for a traditional Andean breakfast, rich in local flavors that will fuel our day of adventure.
After breakfast, we will continue towards the Acjanaco mountain pass. It is the gateway to Manu National Park. Standing at 3,560 meters (11,680 feet) above sea level, Acjanaco offers stunning panoramic views of the Amazon Basin below. This will be our first glimpse of the jungle.
